Beginning in 1996, Bob Carrothers began working with many exquisite CEOs and several different businesses in a large range of industries as a Vistage Chair. How Carrothers moved from CEO to Master Vistage Chair?
Carrothers shared that he brings his experience to improve performance. He shared he developed so many skill sets and priceless knowledge from his unique experience in business. As an entrepreneur he founded three inter-related companies based in the United States. These started out with very little dollar investment and grew to a combined sales revenue of 25 million dollars. After selling these companies to his leadership team, he started a new business which unfortunately failed miserably. This led him in a new direction when he decided he could use his hard-earned lessons help other Business Owners, CEO’s and Key Personnel be more successful. Bob was asked by TEC International, the predecessor of Vistage Worldwide to join them as one of their group leaders (Chairs) in Colorado. It was a perfect fit for him. Bob was asked why Vistage and he stated: “I look forward to sharing my unique experience as well as some lessons learned from my success and from my failures with entrepreneurs, CEO’s, and key personnel to help them be more effective leaders and lead more balanced, happier personal lives”. As part of Vistage he constantly strives to help the members of his peer groups be more successful in growing their businesses.
