Blackmon Mooring & BMS CAT are proud to announce the promotion of Colin Trudo as the Director of Organizational Development. Colin will be tasked with developing new, robust training programs for the extensive list of services the company offers.
“Colin will help to ensure that our employees are the most knowledgeable professionals in the disaster recovery industry. His passion for teaching and thirst for knowledge make him the most qualified person to help us focus on training as we grow into a national brand,” said Tom Head, President of Blackmon Mooring & BMS CAT.
As a Marketing & Finance graduate from Texas Christian University, Colin started in the disaster recovery industry in 2001. Throughout his 18 years in restoration, he has held positions in sales, operations and construction management. As a result, Colin will bring a solid foundation of knowledge with him into this new role, along with an abundance of industry certifications.
“I’m excited to start developing training programs, and other educational opportunities, that directly support our team members across all roles nationwide. By sharing my knowledge and experience in the industry, my hope is that our employees will gain confidence and feel empowered when performing their job,” Trudo says.
About Blackmon Mooring & BMS CAT
Started in 1948 as a furniture and dye shop, Blackmon Mooring has grown to become a leader in each service area it practices – from fire and water restoration to storm damage recovery. The earliest founders of Blackmon Mooring built their business on reliability, quality and superior customer service. In 1981, the company expanded its reach globally with the addition of the BMS CAT division and since then, it has responded to some of the world’s most devastating disasters. Today, the company follows the same principles it was founded upon, and always remembers that the customer is the cornerstone of the business.
