Thomas “Tom” Mayhew has been a broker with Century 21 Tri-Cities since its inception. A graduate of California State University, Tom also has accreditation in land surveying and years of professional experience in consulting for high-tech companies. Mayhew used to be the Marketing Manager for a high precision, high accuracy, GPS company, called Allen Osborne Associates, Inc. “I worked with a lot of Scientists, Geodesists, Surveyors and Weather Researchers. I also investigated a new technology with a small group of technologists and considered creating a startup company to bring the special modem technology to market,” Mayhew shares. The Tri-City Development Council, TRIDEC, is currently working on a project to return government owned land to the community. Mayhew envisions bringing jobs to the area by attracting a large company using the land that will be returned to the community.
Mayhew describes the Tri-Cities as, “…the second best metropolitan area in the US for employment, number one for housing, and an area that is ripe for growth. There are a lot of folks that are from the West coast and relocate to the Tri-cities, looking for the sunshine.
