Ables will be presenting a non-technical session that describes how best-in-class sales teams are designing people-centric sales processes to align with their buyers’ processes. He will be walking attendees through defining their first sales process and mapping it to CRM. He will also be providing pointers for refining existing processes and tips to get teams to adopt and follow a new sales process.
Ables will also be presenting a case study of how Silver Oaks Cellars’ sales management team created a people-first culture by focusing on measurable leading metrics that are influencers of business results. The metrics selected were 100% within individual control, were easy to understand, and can be measured weekly. Tools were implemented to track metrics and make critical information more visible to the sales management team. Ables will elaborate on how weekly meetings were organized to review metrics and trends and to plan for continuous improvement. He will also discuss key lessons learned that any organization can use to improve engagement and performance.
Ables is the author of “The LUCK Principle: Business Results at the Intersection of People & Profit.” In the book he teaches how to harness the power of people, process, and technology to transform a business into a digital workplace that balances a people-first culture with bottom-line results.
