Tom Force, owner and marketing director of Texas-based I.C.E. KEYTAGS, was named a “Best in Class” winner by Infusionsoft in the 2014 Small Business “ICON” contest. The competition recognizes top customers for sales and marketing abilities, and overall business results using Infusionsoft’s leading sales and marketing software.
I.C.E. (In Case of Emergency) KEYTAGS are personal protection devices as well as an innovative marketing system for businesses of all sizes. One side of the tag carries a company’s marketing message, and the other side provides emergency contact information for the tag holder. In less than three years, I.C.E. KEYTAGS has grown from a small local enterprise, to having merchant partners and tag owners around the world. It has garnered rave reviews. One marketing expert called it “Simply Brilliant!”
“Best in Class” winners were selected by a panel of Infusionsoft experts based on their sales and marketing strategy, Infusionsoft implementation and results. The best in class winners demonstrated profound expertise in a specific category. I.C.E. KEYTAGS was awarded Best in Class in the “Lead Generation” category.
“The 2014 Small Business ICON contest received entries from entrepreneurs around the world who are achieving great success in their business and making a positive impact in their communities,” said Clate Mask, co-founder and CEO of Infusionsoft. “Infusionsoft users are just as passionate about helping small businesses as we are, and our conference is an opportunity for them to share their most innovative secrets for growing their business with all the other ICON14 attendees.”
Tom and I.C.E. KEYTAGS will be recognized along with the other Best in Class winners at Infusionsoft’s annual small business conference, ICON14, on April 23, 2014 in Phoenix, Arizona. Their promotion of the business and Tom’s story will continue for one year.
“We are very excited and proud to win this award,” said Force, “because it comes from a company that serves the very same market we do, small to medium sized businesses. Our core customer is a business that wants to step up customer retention and loyalty, get more referrals, and provide a “WOW” factor when it comes to customer service. We teach them how to use I.C.E. KEYTAGS in all areas of the marketing lifecycle – the business philosophy that Infusionsoft is designed around.”
“Infusionsoft has been the backbone of our business for two years now. It has enabled us to expand globally in a way that we previously thought would be impossible,” Force states. “By far, the greatest impact of using this software, and the recognition that comes from winning this award, is that it puts incredible lift behind our mission to protect more people through having our key tags.” He further explained, “It’s a mission born out of my own personal loss, and we will now undoubtedly be able to share our story on a much wider scale.”
Contest winner or not, Force never loses sight of the core function that an I.C.E. KEYTAG performs, namely putting emergency notification information onto a person’s key ring. He emphasizes, “When you hand out your branded I.C.E. KEYTAG, you are not only helping your business, you are positively affecting the life of another human being on a deeper level. It doesn’t get any better than that!”
