The Pittsburgh Social Exchange Teams Up With Empire Investigations For Annual Golf Outing

It’s that time of year again. One of the best ways to relax in the summer and potentially network for business has historically been through the game of golf. For the 3rd year in a row, there was no better place to do both of those activities than at the Pittsburgh Social Exchange’s Annual Golf Outing at Diamond Run in Sewickley, PA. On Monday August 3rd, 2015 Pittsburgh Social Exchange’s Ethan Nicholas, recently named one of Pittsburgh Business Times 2015 Fast Trackers, teamed up with Empire Investigations LLC CEO, Bob Kresson, to deliver another fantastic event with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Homeless Children’s Education Fund.

The event featured over 150 golfers and volunteers participating in the shotgun scramble including a few familiar faces including celebrities, athletes, and one of Pittsburgh’s favorite long time news anchors Paul Martino. For the 3rd year in a row, Empire’s Bob Kresson also sponsored a life changing opportunity for 4 lucky golfers by sponsoring the $1 Million Hole-In-One challenge. Kresson has been quoted about continuing his sponsorship of the event by saying that, “The Homeless Children’s Education Fund is such a great opportunity to give back to the community and really make a difference in what’s really a growing problem that can affect our immediate futures.”

The Homeless Children’s Education Fund, which gives hope to local homeless children through providing them with the tools for a proper education, was represented by Executive Director Bill Wolfe. Wolfe, who addressed the growing concern for our homeless youths not only in Pittsburgh but around the country, stated that “HCEF believes that children and youth experiencing homelessness deserve equal access and full participation in the same educational and enrichment opportunities enjoyed by their stably-housed peers.”
