On June 28th, 2016 in Palm Springs CA, T. Allen Hanes was selected as winner of the National Collaborator of The Year Award for 2016. Four speakers were nominated and Hanes was chosen. Once nominated the individuals go through a process by local business leaders from the Austin Texas area and the winner is selected on how they have impacted the Public Speakers Association as a whole. The award was announced at the 2016 Public Speakers Association 2016 annual conference in Palm Springs, CA. with the CEO of Public Speakers Association Tonya Hofmann.
Hanes an Executive Director of the Greater Houston PSA chapter and Clear Lake, Texas chapter added, “It is a complete honor to be nominated by my peers for this award, and I am so grateful to have been awarded the coveted title. Tonya Hofmann provides a great opportunity for those that have a desire to be a public speaker and I am privileged to be a part of the association of such awesome people that are speakers changing the world from the front of the room”
