Love, magic, mystery, prophecy, conspiracy, psychics, underground cities, the Illuminati, Light Bodies and much more. The Last Avatar tells the story of the emergence of Kalki, the final Avatar of our current Age of Chaos. Part fantasy, part myth, The Last Avatar opens our eyes to our true potential as human beings.
Director Jay Weidner and Producer Sharron Rose, a husband and wife team, have both held the premise that the problems of the world cannot be solved by political means but by a spiritual awakening. Their first feature film, The Last Avatar, which debuts in December 2014, is the culmination of their lifetime efforts and teachings. The movie blends mystical, ancient traditions with modern day awareness of our current world situation. “It was my intention to create an initiatory experience through cinema,” says Jay who also wrote the screenplay.

Producer Sharron Rose is a true renaissance woman. She is a filmmaker, author, performer, and teacher. Emerging from New York’s vital performance art scene, from 1983-1988, with the assistance of a Professional Development Grant from the American Institute of Indian Studies, and a Fulbright Senior Research Fellowship, she began extensive research into the art, culture and spiritual traditions of North India. At that time, she became the first American disciple of early Bollywood film star and legendary North Indian Kathak Queen, Sitara Devi whose family brought the art of dance to Bollywood. Through Sitara, Sharron was initiated into a sacred tradition of the ancient feminine yogic arts.
Since that time, she has consistently sought out other remnants of these symbolic teachings in the ancient traditions of Egypt, Tibet, Kabbalah, Shamanism and Gnosticism. She is the author of the award-winning book, The Path of The Priestess – A Guidebook for Awakening the Divine Feminine published by Inner Traditions. “Sharron is truly a cross-cultural interpreter trying to create a harmonious balance between the Western and Eastern cultural heritage.”—The Patriot, New Delhi, India.
Sacred Mysteries Productions has established a great reputation in the U.S. and international New Age markets for quality film and video productions. Over the last 15 years, Sacred Mysteries has released feature documentaries such as 2012 the Odyssey, Timewave 2013, and Infinity: The Ultimate Trip, to critical acclaim and success.
When asked about their newest film release: The Last Avatar, Sharron has this to say: “We want The Last Avatar to be the impetus for a movement, a transformation, a remembering of who we really are beyond the fear-based messaging that is too often brought forth in today’s media. It is time for people to open their hearts and have meaningful dialogue about the issues at hand in our contemporary society. The film’s focus on the awakening of the Last Avatar is a metaphor for the awakening of each and every one of us.”
