Pamela Bartlett Opens Pinot’s Palette, An Upscale Wine And Paint Studio

Pamela Bartlett, Owner of Pinot’s Palette, an upscale artsy venue in Naperville, IL (a suburb of Chicago), recently opened a unique place to go unwind while enjoying a glass of wine and taking delightful painting lessons. Bartlett was a stay at home mom for 12 years, but after a personal life change she went back to corporate America, however, this time to open her own business. She’s always enjoyed painting and while attending a competitor’s class at a local venue it seemed to rekindle her wonder for art all over again.

She found painting to be fulfilling and felt others would enjoy and benefit from the same experience as well. It was so rewarding to go step-by-step through the painting with an instructor and in just a couple hours ending up with a masterful work of art. A friend shared with her that Pinot’s Palette had franchise opportunities available and after doing her due diligence, she opened her own in December 2013 and it has been a success from day one.

At Pinot’s Palette you don’t have to be an experienced artist, it’s a fun step-by-step class. Local artists are the instructors, they are very friendly and love what they do. Pinot’s Palette is the perfect stop while “painting the town” for a date or any occasion. It offers a room for private parties and a summer camp for kids as well. As one person said, Pinot’s Palette is like a Disneyland for adults because it feels like one of the happiest places on Earth. It’s a great atmosphere to see people having fun watching their paintings come to life.

Bartlett says starting a franchise business was the best route for her to take, they already had a system in place for marketing and the all online tools, and this gave her a road map to success. Although her target market is women age 25-55 the truth is: everyone that comes seems to like it and returns again. She believes, “When you are painting it’s hard to worry about anything, so come to Pinot’s Palette, you might discover your Picasso within.”
