About Linda Walker

Linda Walker, a native Texan, has lived across the beautiful state throughout her eighty years of life. The daughter of a Methodist minister, she moved frequently and that afforded her the ability to have new experiences and adventures growing up.

Raised in the First United Methodist Church (FUMC) and serving as a lay leader for decades, Linda enjoyed being involved in the many ministries and activities of the church. She especially loved ringing handbells and singing in the choir. Linda tirelessly served in the Livingston, TX FUMC church program, Life 101 for several years making sure numerous people received a lovely meal after their studies.

Linda currently resides in Plano, TX and works part time at J Jill clothiers in Willowbend mall where she thrives in socializing with co-workers and meeting new people while serving them in their clothing needs.

Linda is the mother of four amazing adult daughters, and she passed on her love of travel, music, faith, and parenting to each of them. Linda also has eleven beautiful grandchildren whom she loves dearly.

During her down time, Linda enjoys keeping a beautiful yard, a good movie, dining out, spending time with family and reading about local and world history and culture.
