Lauren Sustek (nee Bartkowski) is President and Founder at Bartkowski Life Safety, headquartered in South Holland, Illinois. Lauren founded Bartkowski Life Safety in 2010 after working with a General Contractor and then for her father’s specialty contracting company for several years prior. Lauren brought a new vision to the life safety industry that focused on customer-tailored solutions.
Lauren is proud to share she has assembled a team of like-minded individuals, and together they have grown Bartkowski into an industry leader. Bartkowski Life Safety is a full-service life safety specialty contractor providing facilities with life safety standards & compliance. Bartkowski has been able to provide our expertise on several projects, and to several facilities through the years.
Lauren is the immediate past president for the National Association of Women in Construction Chicago Metro Chapter, a committee member for FCIA’s Marketing Committee, and an active member in several organizations. She is passionate about the advancement of women’s careers in the construction industry and has mentored several ladies that have started their own businesses.
