KMWorld provides practical advice, inspiring thought leadership and in-depth training and workshops on how Knowledge Management and related disciplines can provide great value to organizations, helping them transform their businesses. Office 365 Symposium is for organizations that are revisiting or updating their enterprise Office 365 strategy.

Ables presented the session, “Creating a People-Centric Digital Workplace ” on November 7 at KM World 2018. He discussed how being people-centric isn’t a new concept, but advances in KM and digital workplace tools have advanced significantly in recent years, making it a reality. Ables reviewed case studies of what a people-centric organization looks like; how an organization’s knowledge, processes, people and culture have to align; and organizational disciplines that result in the best employee and customer engagement. He also demonstrated the need to go beyond technology solutions to drive change or transform organizations. Attendees learned how to leverage knowledge, analytics, process and relationships to lead their organizations to create more engagement, both internally and externally.

Ables presented the session, “Demystifying Office 365 Governance” on November 8 at Office 365 Symposium. He elaborated on how to develop and deliver a governance strategy that drives adoption, and leads to innovation, engagement and better customer experiences. Ables also described how to convince leadership teams to understand the value of governance and their role in the process. Attendees left with a free Digital Workplace Governance workbook full of ideas to implement. They also learned where to get started on their governance plan and how it will evolve with their digital workplace project. They also gained insights on getting their leadership on board with a plan that drives adoption and innovation.

Ables is the author of “The LUCK Principle: Business Results at the Intersection of People & Profit.” In the book he teaches how to harness the power of people, process, and technology to transform a business into a digital workplace that balances a people-first culture with bottom-line results. The book is available in both paperback and Kindle versions on Amazon at https://www.Amazon.com/dp/B01N0QW5H4.
