Donna Kuhr, President/CEO/Co-Owner of PTM Corporation and Modified Technologies

Donna Kuhr is President/CEO/Co-Owner for both PTM Corporation and Modified Technologies, Inc. both located in Fair Haven, MI. Donna is second-generation and the operating partner.  Donna has held various positions in the company since 1982.  The third-generation family business has supplied metal engineered solutions to its customers since 1972. 

Mrs. Kuhr is passionate about making her community and world better, as evidenced through her commitment to service and giving. She is a long-standing member of the St. Clair County Economic Development Association and is the Immediate Past President of its board. She has served as the 2018 Chair for United Way’s Manufacturing Division and 2019 Section Chair.  Donna is dedicated to economic development and investing in future generations by serving as a Board Member and the Chair of the Come Home Award Committee for the Community Foundation of St. Clair County. In addition, Donna sponsors and advocates local high school robotics and engineering programs, as well as running marketing campaigns to help promote local small business.

Donna is a leader in her field, blazing trails for women in manufacturing and those who aspire to be involved in manufacturing. Honored to be the first woman speaker at the 2015 JETRO Monozukuri event, she has received various awards including the Inaugural MFG Woman of the Year Award from the Michigan Manufacturers Association (MMA) in November of 2019, WBENC Michigan’s Woman Manufacturer of the Year, 2018 Blue Water Woman Manufacturing Executive of the Year, and in 2018 she was recognized as one of Crain’s Most Notable Women in Manufacturing. She is also a member of Original Equipment Supplier Association’s (OESA) Chief Executive Officers Council.  Donna believes that everyone can support their local non-profits in some way.  One closest to her is A Beautiful Me which is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Donna is proud that her companies support countless local non-profits. 

Donna is grounded in her faith, which is prevalent both in her personal and business life. She is coaching many local young people for success, along with the third generation of family members to join the future success of her companies.
