The Pearl S. Buck Taste of the World 2016 Gala was held May 20, 2016 at the Pearl S. Buck Estate in Perkasie, PA. Proceeds from this event help transform the lives of children from around the globe and provide local students with opportunities to explore other cultures.
The evening included music, silent and live auctions, and fantastic food from top local chefs and restaurants in the area. During the event, desserts and entrées are sampled by a panel of judges as the chefs compete for the Top Taste Entrée and Top Taste Dessert Awards! Participants are judged on taste, presentation and creativity. Also presented are Fan Favorite Awards for both categories, voted on by the attendees of the Gala.
Amy’s Creative Cakes was honored by receiving the Top Taste Dessert Award for their Harvest Apple Cake with a Carmel filling topped with Carmel Buttercream and Dark Chocolate.
