WBEC-West WBE Spotlight – Sondra Kiss, Co-Founder of Kissinger Group

An award-winning business owner and former chair of the San Diego WBEC-West Forum, Sondra is an active proponent of women and entrepreneurialism. Inspired by a long line of entrepreneurs on both sides of her family, she started her first company in her 20’s, bootstrapping the business from zero to $7 million annually before negotiating its successful sale. That business was profiled by International Data Group as one of Canada’s top corporate training companies.

In 2012, the entrepreneurial bug bit again and Sondra co-founded Kissinger Group, a business consulting firm focused on large and Fortune 500 companies in highly regulated industries. The firm helps director and VP-level executives get important work done with consultants who deliver executional power and specialized expertise in areas like project management, process improvement and transformation. Leveraging a unique business model, Kissinger Group uses independent consultants to keep overhead low and select project talent precisely matched to situation and need.

Some of the world’s largest companies are Kissinger Group clients, including Chevron, Kaiser Permanente and MUFG Union Bank. The firm has been named the Class 1 Women’s Business Enterprise Supplier of the Year and featured in San Diego Gas & Electric’s Annual Report on Diverse Business Enterprise.
