Power of Paper author Troy Fullwood was interviewed on the Daily Success Word of the Day podcast discussing the word: “Thriving.” The program will be featured in June 2018 when the Daily Success ™ Word of the Day show premieres.
Troy Fullwood was a featured speaker at the annual thought leaders conference Business Expert Forum at the Harvard Faculty Club. These thought leaders included CEOs, dignitaries, professionals, best-selling authors, technical and medical experts from around the world.
Troy Fullwood founded Pinnacle Investments in 1996. His company is a nationwide principal buyer of performing and nonperforming first-lien real estate notes. Since 1996, Fullwood has closed more than 14,000 real estate notes; deals that are a combination of single and bulk transactions. He has written more than 250 articles on real estate investing, spoken at more than 60 industry conventions and participated in close to 30 radio talk shows about real estate note investing.
Over the years, Fullwood has won numerous awards and accolades. In 2015 he was named Best Mortgage Investor USA by Wealth & Finance International. In 2016 he was named Best of the Best in Finance by Acquisition International. This year he built the NoteGenius Software, launched The Thriving Investor financial website and became a founding investor with Tezos Bank; the first of its kind in the worldwide cyber currency markets. Besides his work in business, Fullwood is a sought-after speaker in the industry, an international bestselling author and an active member of his church.
When asked about his success, Fullwood said: “Put people before profits, and find the problem and solve it; come up with a solution that will benefit your customers.” He believes that people who put profits first are bound to fail as they will eventually offend or fail to serve the people who bring the profits.
His company has been in business for more than two decades, he has always attempted to identify clients’ problems and provide them with viable solutions which keep them coming back and referring others.
Fullwood says building a business is a slow, steady process. He says the key is to “Level up! Learn the business from the top down not from the bottom up. Connect with top level people and bring them value. If you bring them the value they will teach you the business.”
“The most important traits of successful leaders should be vision, action, and praise,” he said.
It’s important to be visionary. “To help create solutions, take action and put in place teams which are solution-based,” Fullwood said. In addition, he says a good leader listens. “Unplug from the digital world and focus on what someone else is talking about.”
