Business Innovators Radio Show Hosts Experienced Real Estate Professional Josh Ross

Josh Ross, a real estate professional serving buyers, sellers, tenants and landlords throughout the Greater Washington DC Metro area, was present as the guest in a recent episode of Business Innovators Radio Show. With over twelve years of industry experience, Josh has been featured in DC Refined segments, Let’s Talk Live, Channel 8 ABC, and the Washington Post. During the discussion with the show host Alicia Dibrell, Josh shared valuable insights related to buying and selling homes.

A native Washingtonian, Josh started his career working in different sales jobs and at a few restaurants. Later on, at the age of twenty-four, he ventured into the real estate sector without much professional experience. With his innate drive, motivation, and youthful vitality, Josh has now established himself as one of the most preferred names in the DC metro area by helping numerous buyers and sellers meet their real estate objectives.  

During the interview, Alicia quizzed Josh on the most important things one should consider before buying a house. Answering the question, Josh stressed heavily on the importance of finding out a trustworthy lender. Josh Ross also discussed the different financing options available to the prospective homebuyers. Contrary to common perception, according to Josh, there are several financing options where the homebuyers don’t even need to make a 20% down payment. However, he also stated the availability of the loan programs may not be the same in different areas. Josh also provided detailed guidelines related to the different processes that a home buyer or seller needs to follow.

Answering another question from Alicia, Josh spoke about the different cost elements to be considered while purchasing a house. In addition to the down payment, this includes monthly payments, relocation cost, expenses incurred on purchasing new furniture, closing cost, and some others. Josh also discussed some of the most common misconceptions people have about purchasing a real estate property.

Finally, Josh was requested to talk about some of his areas of strength as a real estate agent. “We are by definition the largest relocation firm in the world. So, we have some great national and international exposure, which is simply the icing on the cake and it’s an added pro and an added benefit to any seller. My experience in market knowledge over the past 12 years and having lived here, gives me a lot of knowledge of the trends in the marketplace as they’ve happened,” he said.
